Official driver for Windows 7 downloaded from netgear's website won't work. I encountered ithat my Netgear USB Wireless Adapter WN111V2 did not work in windows8.System Manufacturer/Model Number HP CQ5320Y. my computer is windows 7 and from what I read all I should have to do is put it in usb port and it will install. won't recognize netgear wn111v2 wireless adapter.Some ports and hardware may not be backward compatible with each other (ie: if port is USB 2.0 or 3.0) Check compatibility of the adapter and your USB ports. Try a different USB port or PCI slot on the computer.
